Celebrities Workout Playlist

Ever wondered what music helps Jennifer Aniston perfect a downward dog, or what powers Rihanna through a gruelling gym workout? Load up your own iPod with the tunes — from John Mayer lullabies to Destiny's Child dance floor anthems — that motivate the world's hottest celebrities to keep in shape. With bodies like theirs, they've got to be onto something good, right?

Rihanna
The 19-year old Barbadian singer says regular performances help keep her fit, but admits she hits the gym to help her tone up, too. "I have a trainer that I see two to three times a week. We do cardio and weights and we try to focus on the arms, the butt, and legs," she says. The popstar's top four workout tracks include: 'Party like a Rockstar' (Shop Boyz), 'Beautiful Girls' (Sean Kingston), 'Wall to Wall' (Chris Brown), and 'Do It' (T.I.). And we have to forgive her for suggesting some of her own songs such as 'SOS', 'Break It Off' (featuring Sean Paul), 'Umbrella' (featuring Jay-Z), and 'Shut Up and Drive', for when, she says, "you've got to pick up the pace on the treadmill." There are catchy tunes, after all …

Jessica Biel
Interestingly, Justin Timberlake's girlfriend — who has no doubt been busy exercising to tone up for her role as a stripper in the upcoming film, Powder Blue, admits she brings sexy back with none other than bad-boy rapper 50 Cent. "I work out to 50 Cent for some weird reason," the 25-year-old says. "I listen to 'Get Rich or Die Trying' — that pumps me up." The 7th Heaven alumni also says she has a soft spot for mellower R & B music. "Nelly Furtado's album Loose — that's a good one to work out to," Biel adds.

Amanda Bynes
Like most celebs, the Hairspray star admits she doesn't work out very often (yeah, right), but when she does, she says she usually hits the treadmill in 40-minute stints. "I've got a really good mixture of people I listen to," says the 21-year-old, noting artists such as Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake as her faves.

Jennifer Aniston
Looking for the ultimate yoga playlist? Jen's yoga trainer, 38-year-old Mandy Ingber, advises to download tracks such as 'My Friend' (Groove Armada), 'Pastime Paradise' (Stevie Wonder), 'Let Me Roll' (Seal), 'Lebanese Blonde' (Thievery Corporation), 'Speed of Sound' (Coldplay), 'Jane Says' (Jane's Addiction), 'Trouble' (Ray LaMontagne), 'Wild Horses' (The Rolling Stones) and 'Landslide' (Fleetwood Mac) to help you salute the sun. Jen, who took up yoga to improve her "emotional fitness", says the physical benefits are like "the cherry on top." Of her dedication to the practice, Aniston says "my legs got leaner. My arms got strong. I've maybe even grown an inch from aligning my spine." Where do we sign up?

Reece Witherspoon

The 31-year-old mother of two, who can usually be found jogging around her Hollywood Hills neighbourhood, reveals her fave tunes to pound the pavement to as 'Soak Up the Sun' (Sheryl Crow), 'Buttons' (The Pussycat Dolls), 'Walk On' (U2), 'Sweet Home Alabama' (BAMA) and 'Stop This Train' (John Mayer).

Mandy Moore
The 23-year-old singer and actress' workout tunes of choice include '****ing Boyfriend' (The Bird and the Bee), 'Another White Dash' (Butterfly Boucher), 'You Get What You Give' (New Radicals), 'Pink Houses' (John Mellencamp), 'DMSR' (Prince), 'Big Time' (Peter Gabriel), 'Worthwhile' (Greg Laswell), 'Beautiful Day' (U2) and 'Where Is My Mind?' (Pixies).

Eva Longoria

The 32-year-old newlywed and star of TV's Desperate Housewives says she loves "happy music — especially anything '80s. "Some of the songs on her workout playlist include 'Like a Virgin' (Madonna), 'Heartbeat City' (The Cars), 'Purple Rain' (Prince), 'She's So Unusual' (Cyndi Lauper) and 'Lost in Love' (Air Supply).

Jennifer Garner
When she's not playing in the park with two-year-old daughter Violet, 35-year-old Garner can often be found working out to tracks including 'Daughters' (John Mayer), 'Fallin'' (Alicia Keys), 'What You Waiting For?' (Gwen Stefani), 'Crazy In Love' (Beyoncé), 'Rock Your Body' (Justin Timberlake), 'This Love' (Maroon 5), 'Get the Party Started' (Pink), 'Yeah' (Usher), 'Lose My Breath' (Destiny's Child) and 'The Way You Move' (Outkast), adding that the last track is "a great song to either warm up to or cool down to. It makes me really want to move!" Garner is a fan of celebrity trainer Valerie Waters' circuit training workout, which she used to shape up for her role in Elektra and TV's Alias.

Three more stars dish on their favourite fitness tracks
"I love punk, '80s dance — my tastes are all over the place," says Hilary Duff.

"This song ['The Skin of my Yellow Country Teeth (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah)'] makes me dance on the pavement when I am walking with my iPod," says Drew Barrymore.

"When I'm on the treadmill I like either really girly music or '80s rock," says Lauren Conrad.
